If you’re young, mature, working or retired we’d love to have you as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Moorabbin.

Kiwanis International is a global organisation of volunteers dedicated to improving the world… one child and one community at a time.

In an atmosphere of fun and friendship, Kiwanians aim to make a difference.

We meet monthly and contribute our time and talents to assisting community organisations that enhance the lives of children and young people.

Thank you so much to Melinda Shelley from 123Read2Me for donating 400 books to Kiwanis Moorabbin so they can be distributed to families via our book boxes.

123Read2Me will continue to provide us with books to help us encourage young readers in our community.

The book boxes are just another way that Kiwanis Moorabbin helps children.

Kiwanis Moorabbin is proud to support Yarrabah School in Aspendale.

The school caters for children aged between three and 18 years with an intellectual disability.

Yarrabah’s purpose is to maximise student potential by providing an individualised safe learning environment that promotes active learning, encourages adventure, independence and self-esteem.

Yarrabah provides all students an individualised curriculum with therapeutic supports that prepare them for life as valued community members.

The Yarrabah school philosophy is REAL:

Relationships, Explicitness, Ability and Learning for Life are the four pillars of the Yarrabah framework.

Yarrabah School presents used books to Kiwanis for our book boxes

Each month, Kiwanis Moorabbin presents half an hour of The Community Block on 88.3 Southern FM – The Sounds of the Bayside. Tune in on the third Tuesday of each month at 2:30 PM for the latest updates from your local Kiwanis Club.
